Our team successfully completed the following scope requirements on time and under budget:

  • Demolition and disposal of reinforced concrete shelf, spillway, and weir inside diversion structure
  • Construction and channelization of a concrete cunette in box diversion structure for improved sewage flows
  • Modify junction structure’s concrete shelf, spillway and weir
  • Plug and fill existing reinforced concrete sewer pipeline
  • Provide flow diversion within the diversion structure and bypass of upstream combined sewer flows
  • Decant stagnant sewage and debris from existing sewers connected to the diversion structure

Marinship’s crews and subcontractors completed the project in an incredible 30 day time frame, 30 days faster than the original 60 day schedule.

Following completion of this work, the final repaving a restoration was completed in accordance with SF Public Works Standard and Codes. This project was completed as part of the Ocean Beach Master Plan, a comprehensive vision to address sea level rise, protect infrastructure, restore coastal ecosystems, and improve public access. We were required to provide 30% local workforce.
