Marinship Development Interest served as one of the concrete subcontractors for Parcel A of the Mission Rock high-rise project. Our team’s accomplishments on this worksite spanned:
Our teams constructed the rat and protection slabs, slab-on-grade, and filled in metal decks. Marinship also supplied labor for composite crews to assist in place and finish of tower mat foundation and the formation of concrete decks.
Rat slab pours averaged more than 10,000 sq. ft. per hour. The scope of work included foundations focused around pile caps, grade beams, mini-mats and inclusive of pits.
In line with California’s goal to expand the number of carbon negative, cost-saving green buildings, this facility located next to The San Francisco Giants Oracle Park, is in the process of getting qualified for a LEED gold certification based on the v4 rating system.
While many contractors were faced with the difficult decision of reducing their workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic, Marinship Development Interest ensured that more than 50 San Francisco residents remained employed.
