Marinship Development Interest was selected as the prime contractor to deliver underground utilities for the SD-358 South and South Foothill Interceptors Level Monitoring Station Improvements. This East Bay Municipal Utility District project includes the installation + construction of four new wastewater interceptor level monitoring stations (LMS), as well as the replacement of an existing LMS enclosure.
Our team will provide sidewalk demolition, curb and gutter construction as well as paving, trenching, and installation of underground Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) electrical service conduits from secondary utility boxes and utility poles to LMS instrument enclosures. Marinship crews will also lend our expertise to place underground instrument blubber tubes, carrier pipes and radar equipment. According to EBMUD, this is the first construction contractor ever awarded to an African American general contract in the history of the District.
